Updates this version
  • Update loop fix:
    Fixes an issue with an incorrect build number in 17.1 that caused the system to perpetually offer a "new" version.
  • File type reversion: 
    Reverts a number of files which previously changed to ".dat" files back into ".user" files, upon realising that changing those file types would greatly increase the number of people who had conflicts after updating. This means that if you've updated to 17.0 or 17.1 already, you will need to backup and clear your 4e data folder one last time.
    Alternatively, you can manually or delete just the following files:
    • All .dat files starting with "ddi_".
    • rpga_items.dat
    • superior_magic_implements.dat
    Many apologies for the inconvenience; this should be the last time this sort of nonsense happens.
  • Sources cleanup: 
    Fixed some incorrect source references left over from user fixes like "Eberron" and "Dragon 406" to match the sources defined by the downloader.
  • Removed homebrew weapon properties: 
    Removed Zeitgeist and Hunters Dream weapon properties, which were present but commented out in ddi_weapon_properties.aug. These will be made available as separate files on the Cryptoknight forums.
  • More gender options: 
    Updated available genders to allow more accurately descriptions. "Fluid" and "None" are now added to the existing list of Male/Female/Other.

If updating from a version earlier than 17.0 (2023-02-16):
This version integrates many fixes previously provided in individual user files, so you should remove those files to avoid conflicts. You can find a full list of integrated fixes in the 17.1 patch notes.
