| Description: This user file implements the Blackguard Paladin variant from Heroes of Shadow, including the Grim Blackguard Paragon Path. Most powers existed in HeroLab already, so mostly this file gathers them together while also patching some powers to correct scraper errors. All aspects seem to be working correctly when this was posted. v1.1 (2017-08-15): I neglected to bootstrap the Dark Menace feature. Thanks to GbSeiL for bringing my attention to this. Apologies to any blackguards who missed out! Known "Issues": Implementation is based on the existing Cavalier, since the Blackguard is so similar to it in structure (most significantly, the class bootstraps the identical Cavalier At-Will/Encounter/Daily mechanics). However, depending on your understanding of the rules, some of the automatically-added powers should be able to be chosen from the Paladin list if the player prefers. It's unclear as to which method is actually correct, so I went with the one that matched the Cavalier, for consistency. In case you think the other reading is correct, I do plan to make a power-swappable variant later. Posts: 39 | August 15, 2017, 04:34:24 AM Thanks for bringing that to my attention! I'll take a look at the class feature and get a fix posted ASAP. As for the powers, it's up for debate. By some readings of the rules, Blackguards should not be able to pick from the normal Paladin list. By other readings, any power with a level should be able to be swapped. In HeroLab, the existing essentials classes with these rules don't allow swaps, so I made this file to match that standard.
