Title: Issues creating Hexblade
Post by: JabbaVonHutt on November 05, 2015, 05:52:11 PM
Our group is concerned that DDI support will be abandoned at some point and my DM asked me to look into using HL as an alternative since I used it in the past for other systems.

So I wanted to try it out on my PC first which is an Eladrin Hexblade.

Couple of things I'm finding on the character sheet.

1) To-Hit values does not include bonus from rod feat or magic from rod

2) Issue creating magical superior implement

3) Bonus damage on any power that could benefit from superior implement training not included. i.e. +2 damage to radiant attacks from defiant rod superior implement.

Could someone point me to what I am not doing correctly.

Thank you.

F.Y.I. I couldn't answer correctly to what Product this site serves. Its not Hero Lab or HERO LAB or Hero Lab 4e or HERO LAB 4E or Herolab 4e or any other of the dozen permutations I tried. This was very fustrating.

At a guess, I suspect these two issues might essentially be the same issue (to whit, some feats don't have attached code to apply their bonuses to stuff, so their benefits exist in description only). Refresh my memory - is superior implement training a feat or class feature/build option? I don't play a lot of "casters" ^_^;

Some advice for now:

Could you explain what's going wrong in more detail? "Issue" doesn't help much ^_^;
