Title: Inherent Bonuses
Post by: Bleak Midwinter on May 16, 2015, 05:39:59 AM
In the campaign I'm playing in, we're using inherent bonuses instead of magic items. The only way I can see to add these is on a per power basis to both attack and damage. This is clumsy. Is there a better way to add a flat bonus?

For the moment it's all we have, until somebody wants to tackle solving the problem and post code here I can merge in.

I would suggest managing the bonus in the permanent bonuses area and applying it to weapons (or implements) rather than the powers themselves.

I.e. give you character a plain old wand... then add the bonuses to that wand.  Or Sword... etc.

Thank you. Dumb question - how do I apply it to an implement? I can manage a weapon just fine, but implements (Holy Symbols for example) aren't showing up as a selectable option for Weapon or Damage permanent adjustments.

I have a fix.  I created a feat that when added to the hero will apply the inherent bonuses.  I have attached the file.
